“Sneeze Project”
The moment we lose control.

This is a photo and video series capturing the involuntary moment of a sneeze.
A sneeze is one of the shortest moments when the body escapes our control.
In that instant, the face collapses, and socially constructed expressions loosen.
I don’t see this moment as something humorous or exaggerated. I’m more interested in what happens right after the silence, the reactions, the small emotional shifts.
Some laugh. Some feel awkward. Some simply let the moment pass. Some never quite complete the sneeze.
In that brief pause, the distance and intimacy between people become visible.

For me, these moments relate to love.
Love is not always something we intentionally express, but something that allows another person to exist without control.

So this work leads to a question:
When does your love appear without control?
When does your body react before you understand your feeling?
What is love to you?
